Regulations you must follow if you own a pet and live on baseā¦
- Your pet must be registered with the VTF. This means that you must come by and fill out some forms so that we can build a medical record for your pet.
- The base also requires that you have your pet vaccinated every year
- It is also mandatory for all pets that reside on base to be microchipped
- You are not required to use the veterinary clinic here on base, but if you get your medical care from a civilian veterinary clinic you are required to show proof of vaccinations to the VTF
- Some services do not require the veterinarian, such as microchipping, heartworm testing, expression of anal glands and toenail clipping.
