Major Robert L. Reinhard
Maj Robert L. Reinhard is currently assigned to the 319th Air Refueling Wing as the 319th Force Support Squadron Commander.  He leads approximately 400 military and civilian members in the command's first FSS with a budget of $1.9M APF and $1.3M NAF.  The squadron develops and executes plans and programs across the force support spectrum in personnel, manpower, services, and training via 36 facilities and activities for a total force population of 2,000 through the BRAC bathtub and mission change from tankers to remotely piloted aircraft (RPA).  In his position, he is also the Base Mortuary Affairs Officer, NAF hiring authority, MWR fund custodian and Combined Federal Campaign Local Federal Coordinating Committee co-chair.  Prior to this assignment, Major Reinhard attended Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.

Major Reinhard graduated from high school in Okeechobee, Florida in 1985 and enlisted in the Air Force in 1986.  He received initial technical training as a Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) Specialist.  In this career field, he held various duty titles and attended many advanced schools.  He also deployed as a PMEL technician in support of Operations DESERT SHIELD/STORM/ CALM. Major Reinhard spent 9 years in PMEL before cross-training into the selectively manned career field of Air Force Recruiting where he supported the Air Force non-prior service program.

Major Reinhard received his commission through Officer Training School in 1998 and entered the Manpower and Organization career field.  He held base-level manpower officer positions at McChord Air Force Base, Washington and Misawa Air Base, Japan.  Major Reinhard was also the Executive Officer for the 35th Fighter Wing at Misawa Air Base, Japan.  In 2005, he deployed as the J3 Air Operations Officer assigned to Joint Task Force–Guantanamo supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.  At the MAJCOM-level, he held various positions within the XP and A5A8 directorates.

In 2007, Major Reinhard was appointed Commander, Headquarters Squadron, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces.  He held this position for one year before being assigned as the Operations Officer for the 8th Force Support Squadron, Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea.  During this remote assignment, he set up the first Force Support Squadron on the Korean Peninsula. Major Reinhard is married to the former Paula MacDonald of Cadosia, New York and has one daughter, Michelle.
